In matters of fiqh Islamic jurisprudence , Ahmadis reject strict adherence taqlid to any particular school of thought madhhab , giving foremost precedence to the Quran and sunnah, but usually base their rulings on the Hanafi methodology in cases where these sources lack clear elaboration.
